Therefore, HAWKAS will quote on the individual project. We will discuss your requirements  and then take in account its location, the time scale, permission to fly and fully brief you on the proposed project.
There are a number of variables which may affect the quotation including the location of the shoot, time of year and weather conditions, any risks associated with taking on the project, site visit and preplanning along with all other CAA requirements

AVAILABILITY, BOOKING & DEPOSIT
Due to the nature of the weather in the UK and nature of filming shoots we are very flexible when working with clients. Many of our jobs are booked very last minute. However we must have enough time to do pre-flight checks and ensure that the job can be undertaken safely, adhering to the CAA rules & regulations of aerial filming and our operating licence. We are happy to pencil in potential project and dates.
Bookings where deposits have been paid will take priority.
Any bookings only pencilled in will be give a certain number of days to make payment of a deposit before booking could be cancelled
Due to the nature of the filming industry and working with a number of staff and freelancers, we do require our clients to commit when booking our services and time.

UAV AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY IS AFFECTED BY THE WEAHTER
With this in HAWKAS have a flexible and pragmatic approach to scheduling the clients project.
At present UAVs used by HAWKAS do not operate in rain or high winds.   Also clients may have specific requirements that restrict us to flying at specific times.
THE LOCATION of the shoot should be provided by you the client along with the proposed date and a brief containing as much background information as possible on what you wish from the shoot
SITE SURVEY the initial survey will be done from the HAWKAS office though an online site survey to confirm the shoot is possible and weigh up other factors, such as flight restrictions or permissions that need to be considered.
With larger shoots that involves other production companies etc., the UAV may be a just a small part of  the overall production.  However in order to comply with the terms of  the CAA license we still need to complete our pre-flight survey.  This could involve a physical site visit.
With any project HAWKAS may arrange a physical site visit and discuss any final arrangements.
Hawkas can monitor the weather forecast 5 days in advance of the shoot.  If the signs are not good we talk to the client 48 hours prior to the shoot. At this point we will reschedule the shoot to the next suitable date at no additional cost and the booking deposit is transferred to the new date. If the shoot cannot be re-scheduled due to factors out of our control (live events, client availability etc.) Hawkas do not offer a refund of the initial deposit. If we both decide to stay with the original date and we have bad weather, the pilot and crew will wait on site as long as possible for a  break in the weather. If we arrive on site and are unable to shoot on the day we will charge in full, but offer clients a 25% discount off the price of the second shoot on the follow up date.
CANCELLATION should you the client cancel the shoot within 7 days of the scheduled date the 25% deposit will not be refunded.
